Today is Wednesday, the day that MyCokeRewards has its weekly reward deal.
I logged in today and took advantage of a free coupon for McDonald’s Quarter Pounder.
It got me to thinking about all the free things we have received from being a part of the “my coke rewards” program.
So a disclaimer first…..No it is not actually free because we have to buy the cokes first in order to get the rewards….with that being said…. Even without the rewards program, my husband is a coke head….(lol) so we buy a lot of these 12 packs.
Three a week, or more.
Hey, don’t judge he could be drinking a few cases of beer so I will be happy with the coke.
I logged on to the site today and compiled a list of the things we have been rewarded with over the years.
- A Play Station 2 system – Yes I said PS2 – it was 2006 so the PS2 was still pretty popular back then!

It has been a few weeks since I posted anything here.
Today marks the 30th day that I have worked on the revision of my manuscript. I am almost at the halfway mark. I am finding it much easier to add and write to the story now that I know how it ends. I can drop hints and snippets of information along the way that make for a better, well rounded story.
I also joined a writers group to workshop my manuscript and I am getting a lot of positive feedback.
I am working on improving my grammar as well.
Between, the day job, the revisions, and the writers group I haven’t had a lot of extra time for blogging.
I am going to make a better effort over the next few weeks to get on here and share my ideas and thoughts with all of you.
Hope all is well in the land of bloggers!
As I took a picture of my daughter last night I realized I have this bizarre addiction to taking photos of her when she is snoozing.
As a newborn she had jaundice so she slept so much that many of those pictures are sleeping. But as she has grown the tendency to take sleeping pictures has not diminished.
So I thought I would present to you my daughter the first 3 years!
The day we came home from the hospital!
My little bundle
Can a face be any more perfect than that?
After a hard day on the beach
Too much jumping!
Grocery Shopping is hard work
Eating is hard work!
I am sick!
Chocolate makes me sleepy!
She is getting so long!
Tired out from a wedding!
I hope you enjoyed the journey of her growing up through sleepy pictures!
I am sure my obsession is not over and there will more clicking in my future!

I opened my spam email today for the first time in a few months and imagine my surprise when I found out the Nigerians are looking for me. They apparently have money that belongs to me and here I am trying to make ends meet in the US of A when all I need to do is contact one of the 20 or so Nigerians who are seeking me.
Mr. Nelson Emmanuel is a FBI foreign agent in Nigeria.
He wants to send me $8.5 Million Dollars.
All he needs is my home address, telephone number and to let him know how I want my funds transferred.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has emailed me telling me they have two inheritance boxes they need to get to me that total $8.3 Million dollars of merchandise.
Again all they need is my home address, telephone number.
A diplomat from Nigeria needs me to send him $103 for shipping taxes so that I can receive my $6.3 million dollars worth of merchandise.
To top it all off I have apparently won 4 or 5 lotteries in other countries and they all just need my bank routing number to send me the money.
And to think I have wasted all of this time here working for my money.
Oh well, off to make millions and millions of dollars with a few clicks!
